Role in the project

RISE is Swedish coordinator for All2GaN. In WP1, RISE will work towards the development of GaN power devices and IC's up to 100V and related substrates. In WP4, RISE will work in the area of integration and packaging of GaN devices, whereas in WP5, RISE will investigate reliability from components to system. For project management, communication, dissemination and exploitation, RISE is also a partner in WP7.

Key contribution

RISE will contribute to All2GaN in following ways:

  • Development of vertical nanowire based HEMT by realizing 2DEG at vertical planes of GaN nanowires. Processing of lateral D-mode and E-HEMT devices by utilizing SweGaN QuanFine technology.
  • Identifying an appropriate rapid prototyping approach to test optimized power package designs.
  • To develop a comprehensive methodology that employs AI and PHM to qualify the reliability of GaN devices.
