Role in the project
Delta is on the application side using GaN transistor with integrated driver into two rectifiers. The first one is 1kW low cost/high efficiency and a 3kW high efficiency rectifier with very high density. Eltek has the posibility to test the different stages of development of the integration of driver and GaN transitor.
Eltek will give feedback to the team working on the integreted driver and GaN transistor and estabilish a good corperation.
Delta can contribute with testing on different power level the performance of the integrated driver with GaN transistor with respect for functionality and reliability.
- Overview of necessary protection features and reporting
Impact on galvanic isolation integrated or separated with respect to power (+12), high/low side and signals for driving, reporting and shutdown.
Study of failures and shutdown in one transistor in a half bridge/totem pole for highest reliability
