The Delft University of Technology (TUD) is the oldest and largest Dutch public technical university, located in Delft, Netherlands. As of 2022 it is ranked by QS World University Rankings among the top 10 engineering and technology universities in the world.
With eight faculties and numerous research institutes, TUD has more than 26,000 students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and 6,000 employees (teaching, research, support and management staff).
Role in the project
TUD will be involved in WP1 and WP4, In WP1, we will develop monolithic GaN power IC with smart gate drivers, emphasizing on high efficiency and low EMI techniques; in WP4, we will develop chip-stacking interconnect technology in a Cascode GaN multi-die power module packaging. In addition, TUDelft will develop a sintered source-down interconnect in GaN package.
TUD will develop monolithic GaN power IC design with smart gate drivers to achieve high power efficiency and low EMI. We will also develop a new interconnect technology in the GaN packages with excellent thermal management and reliability performance.
