Role in the project

IFAT will act as project coordinator and leader of WP2 and leader of numerous tasks.

Key contribution

IFAT will focus on activities in WP2 needed for realizing a modular 650V GaN technology family with a variable degree of SoC integration. Some integration and reliability activities will be also conducted in WP4 and WP5. Developed novel GaN devices have the potential in a wide field of applications. Thus, for the optimal use of the innovative smart integrated GaN demonstrators, IFAT will offer application engineering support for the diverse Use Cases in WP6. Technology development setup, semiconductor process and manufacturing intellectual property as well as manufacturing logistics and manufacturing IT infrastructure are fully available at Infineon Technologies Austria AG.
