Celebrating Daniel Rios Linares at the IPCEI Summer School
On Wednesday, 17 September 2025, we proudly recognize Daniel Rios Linares for his outstanding work in the Use Case Presentation Contest at the M24 ALL2GaN General Assembly in Madrid.
Daniel—PhD Student and Associate Professor at the Centro de Electrónica Industrial (CEI), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)—was invited to join the prestigious IPCEI Summer School, hosted by Infineon Technologies Austria AG.
During the Summer School themed “One prompt, one chip – Unlocking the potential of AI”, Daniel delivered an inspiring presentation entitled “Powering AI at the Edge: A High-Density DC/DC Converter Approach”. After a short introduction of ALL2GaN project coordinator, Herbert Pairitsch, Daniel explained the crucial role of power management in AI applications in front of an audience of 40 talented students from 14 countries. Moreover, his participation created valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, share best practices and build new professional relationships, fostering a stronger bridge between ALL2GaN and IPCEI while laying the groundwork for future joint research and innovation.
Congratulations to Daniel for this remarkable achievement, and our sincere thanks to the IPCEI Summer School team for their excellent organization!
