Floating Capacitor Integrated DAB for Single-Phase, Single-Stage PFC in Wireless Battery Charging Application (Open Access)
IEEExplore link: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10244113
Short abstract
We propose a single-stage circuit called FCI-DAB, for single-phase AC-DC applications such as a wireless EV charger. The main point of the circuit is an active energy buffer that compensates the power fluctuation at double the grid frequency, which is connected to the high-frequency link of a resonant DAB AC-DC converter. The concept is verified by experimental results, obtained from an GaN-based IPT battery charger.
